Mank y The Crown las más nominadas a los Golden Globes 2021

La temporada de premios a lo mejor del cine y la televisión en Estados Unidos ya está en marcha y hoy la Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood dio a conocer a sus nominados para los Golden Globes 2021, cuya ceremonia de premiación se llevará a cabo el próximo domingo 28 de febrero en una gala especial y con distanciamiento.
En esta ocasión, Sarah Jessica Parker y Taraji P. Henson fueron los encargados de dar a conocer la lista completa de los nominados de la ceremonia 78º de los Golden Globes y se informó que el día de la premiación sus presentadoras estarán en diferentes ciudades, por un lado, Amy Poehler conducirá desde el Beverly Hilton Hotel, mientras Tina Fey lo hará desde Nueva York.
Como todos sabemos, en 2020 la pandemia cerró las salas de cine durante prácticamente todo el año, los estrenos se pospusieron o se optó por estrenar en diferentes plataformas de streaming, que se convirtieron en la única opción para ver películas y series, lo cual dio como resultado que este 2021 sean estas plataformas las estrellas en la temporada de premios, no por nada, Netflix lidera con un total de 42 nominaciones tanto en cine como en televisión.
La películas con mayor número de nominaciones es Mank, de David Fincher, con un total de seis (Mejor Película de Drama, Dirección, Guion, Actor de Drama -Gary Oldman-, Actriz de Reparto - Amanda Seyfried- y Música Original) mientras que en el terreno de las series la más nominada fue The Crown, también con seis nominaciones (Mejor Serie de Drama, Mejor Actor de Drama - Josh O’Connor-, Mejor Actriz de Drama –Olivia Colman y Emma Corrin- Mejor Actriz de reparto - Gillian Anderson y Helena Bonham).
Otro dato importante es que este año, las mujeres tienen un lugar destacado en la categoría de Mejor Dirección, donde se ubican Regina King por One night Miami; Chloé Zhao por Nomadland y Emarald Fennell por Promising young woman.
